It was a great honour for Trentemøller when Depeche Mode asked him to do a remix of the song “Wrong” which is the first single of their new album “Sounds Of The Universe". Trentemøller’s mix was then released on the official Remix EP in April 2009.
The single is the bands 46th UK single overall. It hit the radio in February 2009, and became available for purchase online on February 24, 2009. The single was physically released on April 6, 2009.
"Wrong (Trentemøller Remix)" - This remix is the star of the show for me from the remix package - it has big insistent sound, and it sounds like it has more of a hard edge and nicely old-school style in terms of the instrument additions. Love the rolling guitar line halfway through the dub. It's with productions like this that you see the benefit of remixes - when things come together they can work very well indeed. Trentemoller has done a magnificent job. I just have to say that this is the sickest version I have heard yet!
