FFFFOUND. This while staring at the google page with a blank stare. And. Then. Like magic. I found these images. And now its here, in front of your eyes. And in your mind or even your subconscious. So. If you dream about flying over the mother city in a 1960s blood red convertible caddy, you know where those visuals came from. Enjoy.

Union Street, Gardens September 1974.

Heerengracht 1969. On the left the Absa / Trust Bank centre just started out.

Muizenberg Pavilion circa 1958.

The beginning of The Golden Acre, late 1969.

Admiring the view, 1950. There are no safety barriers in sight!

The opening of Parliament circa 1970.

The Sentinal, Hout Bay 1931. A remarkable colour image from National Geographic taken at the time when 99% of all photography was done in black and white. Amazingly cool.

Happy days. 1960. Two District Six boys trying to get a lift off.

Wale street 1943. Looks like LA Noire, only its not, its cape town wale street. Wouldn't mind a ride like that.

Planes over Devils Peak 1971. 7 Squadron Harvards Planes from Ysterplaat Air Base in formation over Devils Peak. Fun times. Hey look at all those beautiful green TREES!

Silverstream Buttress 1975. Wow. So. Beautiful. Thats the perfect time to light up a nice tightly rolled jay. Well actually, if you look really closely, it actually looks like they just hit a bong of some really good A Class higher grade green. Look at them, staring off into space. Probably thinking and wondering about how on earth Stanley Kubrick made 2001: A Space Odyssey. Cooooool.

Super chilled in the apartheid times ya. We can lekker hang out in the mang. Im sure it will be so awesome. Just kidding. I would also love to go back to the past, wouldnt mind living out in the 90's because it feels like it passed in such a blur.

I also wanted to go to VIBE and I also wanted the VIBE sticker on my door. A generation passed.

Yo Mr Radiant, checked out the Brake Take Make laband song, killer! Minimalist to the max. How I love it. Heres one to look out for.
