So Im sure we can all agree that weed is nothing but that what it is called. A weed, that grows from the mother earth, naturally, and in all its beautiful glory. The fact that man has the right to illegalize and ban something so pure and natural always makes me realise how messed up society really is. Its wrong on so many levels. Im not saying that weed must be fed to children, what I am saying is that its a lifestyle choice, and people around the world should have the right to consume Marijuana if they want to. Thats where I stand on the topic. People are free and they should enjoy their freedom (while they still can).
I have never heard of someone overdose on weed, that shit just does not happen, I have never heard of anyone dying in a car accident while driving while hitting some AK47 flavoured bongs. People should wake up and start being more tolerable of other peoples choices. The information below was taken from the Below The Lion blog, one of my favourite blogs ever. Simply because its all about the green sticky icky. And everything else that surrounds the topic. Click here for Below The Lion. So if you an occasional user or a recreational abuser then stab out. Lets march for Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, and for the right to get high without getting arrested or spending a weekend in the mang. Because that shits just fucked up.
High.
At this weekend’s Global Marijuana March 2011, South Africans will join millions of people in hundreds of cities around the world, to gather in solidarity of legalizing cannabis – an ancient plant that is widely prescribed by modern medical doctors worldwide and is legal for medicinal use in 15 American states and the District of Columbia along with Canada among others.
The Global Marijuana March (GMM) which was first held in 1999, is an annual march on the first Saturday of every May. The event is hosted internationally by Dana Beal and Cannabis Culture. The Global Marijuana March is a celebration embracing cannabis culture as a personal lifestyle choice. Participants unite to discuss, promote, entertain and educate both consumers and non-consumers alike.
Currently, there are only events planned for JHB, Durban and Soweto. We’ll keep you in the loop though if anything is planned for Cape Town, or anywhere else for that matter.
Below are the various events GMM happening in South Africa:
• Saturday in Soweto: GMM Solidarity Gathering: R30
• Mzimhlophe Hall – Cnr Vincent St & Carr St. (5pm to 6am)

Global Marijuana March was great, for those that supported and attended. Next year, less politics and more smoking. God I pray for that.
